Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture, Tashkent maintains a well equipped Library with nearly 5000 books on India in English, Hindi, Russian and Uzbek languages and a Reading Room with all major Indian newspapers, magazines and journals. Documentary films on India in English and Hindi languages, Hindi feature films, CDs, VCDs and Music Cassettes are also stocked.
Every day a large number of scholars and students visit the Library and Reading Room for reference and reading purposes and to borrow books, magazines and CDs, VCDs, DVDs etc.
Newspapers and magazines are also made available to the Libraries of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, Al-Beruni Institute, World Languages University, Institute of Regional and Strategic Studies etc.
